Luckily, he's not alone. Stacy Moore, the bride-to-be, is grateful for his help and the two of them quickly develop a rapport.

As they work together to escape their kidnappers, Stacy can't help but be drawn to Nick. His sense of humour and easygoing nature make her feel safe and loved, something she hasn't felt in a long time.

Unfortunately, Stacy is engaged to someone else and she knows that she can't just ignore her feelings for Nick. She has to choose between the life she thought she wanted and the man who has stolen her heart.

HORRIBLE NARRATION!

I knew this book was narrated by computer/virtual voices but I decided to give it a try since it was free with my membership. I really tried to give the book a chance but I could not stand the non-human narration. Have we really come to the point as a society that we can't use a real human to do a job that literally is all about their voice? The generated voices could not be differentiated between characters and the natural ebb and flow of the dialog could not come through without it being a human 'reading the book. I could only listen to about 30 minutes of the book before giving up. Audible please do better and use real narration.
