If viewed from the point of view that this was conceived and written during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, it reads as an interesting reflection on life at this time. As a review of nihilism and specifically, “sunny nihilism” it seems to veer towards anecdotal and less towards reference or informational.

This book was recommended to me at a time when I was experiencing crippling anxiety from the stresses of life. Wendy Syfret's perspective on life transformed my thinking in a way that has helped me destress and stop worrying about the insignificant issues that I deal with every day. It is well performed and I easily listened to it in two days between work and commuting.

Delightfully insightful

Being new to nihilism in concept and belief, I appreciated this approach to the beliefs. You can be nihilist and not have existential crisis or be a horrible person. I’ll listen to this one again.

This book got me good

More than anything, I learned how to not assign greater meaning to things that don’t deserve it. This book was liberating for me. If your background is religious and you’ve since lost faith, this book is great because it’s proof you can have your life and it can be amazing, but you can decide for yourself what’s important to you. Highly recommend
