It had been five years since Pearl lost her beloved husband Teddy. For the last five years, every night she prayed that the Lord would call her home too. Why couldn't she be with her beloved Teddy? Pearl awoke with a start the beginning of November and would never forget the dream she had just had. Her beloved Teddy came to her in a dream and told her it wasn't her time to come to the other side yet. The Lord was counting on her to do His Work on earth to help make the poor, needy, and sad children happy.

"You'll think of a way! Think of me, Teddy, and it will come to you!" And just like that, he was gone!

Pearl was doing her normal grocery shopping and saw a little girl crying in a grocery cart after her mother told her they didn't have enough money to buy a teddy bear! It suddenly occurred to her that this was what Teddy was talking about. She had been blessed with a gift to sew...and from today on...she would start making teddy bears for all the children in the world that wanted one to hug and call their own! She was so excited, she could hardly finish her shopping!
