Over 3,000 years ago, Moses freed the people of Israel from slavery under the Egyptian Pharaoh. Moses lead the Israelites to an area near Mount Sinai. Then, Moses went to the top of Mount Sinai and received the 10 commandments from God. Moses went down to the Israelites and called them to hear the 10 commandments of God that they may learn and observe them. The first commandment is: 1. You shall have no other gods before me. What do you think that means? The first commandment: You shall have no other gods before me means to have only one God. You should pray to and worship God instead of animals, people or other things.
