Great content but there is only one 12hr chapter. Basically the entire book from start to finish. If you want to go back, forget it, it's all guess work. Why not include chapters? I prefer to be able to navigate rather than guess how to go back - and there is no ability to jump forward. If I am a marketer and want to start with finance, too bad you have to listen to it all to get there. I appreciate the author's desire for his listeners to hear ALL of it, but this is too restrictive in my opinion.

No chapters!?!

10 Day MBA by Steven A. Silbiger narrated by Timothy Andrés Pabon

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Timothy Andrés Pabon at 1.2 speed for my personal listening preference.

I very much enjoyed the way the information in this book was presented. Even more complicated ideas seem to be fairly well simplified for someone who os newer to the financial world. Sure, it took me more then 10 days to finish listening to this audiobook, but that was due to my own time constraints/misallocation; anyone else with a fair amount of time on their hands (and properly used) should be able to get through the 10 Day MBA with little-to-no problem.

Having not gone through an actual MBA course, I found this book interesting to listen to, to get a grasp of concepts taught in that track’s classes. I can honestly say I learned a good deal, and there were some nice parts which reminded me of Financial Shenanigans (4th edition) written by Howard M. Shilit, Jeremy Parker, and Yoni Englehart in talking about ways corporations play with money in sometimes scandalous ways.

One thing I really liked about the book was, at the end, there was a section on personal finance that is always helpful for the average person, complete with information on how to find more help with options addressed and suggested. Very helpful.

Overall, I highly recommend this book for anyone, but will admit it is more for those with a little bit of understanding of the financial systems in the US in particular as the subject is presented based on US laws and markets.

Dense Material, but Great Info

The only problem with this book is that the mathematical formulas in some parts are a lot harder to follow in an audiobook than in a visual format at least for me so forewarning for visual learners. However everything is explained in vast detail and every aspect of business is tackled. Highly recommend.

Easy to follow and broad but yet detailed

There are some simple and sometimes subtle things that a performer needs to change when reading a book. This performer believes that the book including graph titles, lists etc. need to be read verbatim. The result is occasional incomprehensible word nonsense that is distracting to the listener. I guess if you are already an MBA this may be a good review and reminder of topics, but this condensed information is probably not a good audio book for someone like me who isn't already knowledgeable about the subject.

This is an audio book - performer doesn't know
