Great!

I was nervous about the ending after reading other reviews, but I didn't feel the ending was clipped. this story follows other similar paths of Jayne Ann/Amanda's other stories. I found the story delightful and full of twists and turns. I have only been listening to books released on Audible and am fairly new to this author, so I've loved having the earlier books in the series available. These books fill in some gaps and make the later books that much more enjoyable. LOVE the narrator!

Leona and her Aurora Stone.

I liked the spirit shown by Leona throughout. I also liked that the miscreants for the most part got their just desserts. This story moves right along so don't plan to put it down for long.

A word of warning, however, there is some explicit sex. If you don't want to hear such then fast forward through it or don't start. It might be easier to skip past the sex in a book or ebook.

Riveting story.

Great story, and awesome narrator. I really enjoy these historical romances that also are infused with people that have psychical talents. Leave it to Amanda Quick to keep it interesting. So glad to hear from the Arcane Society again. I was also happy to see that Gabe and Venetia are doing well. I loved their story too. In addition, the dog called "Fog" was adorable. And, I really thought Aunt Victoria was sweet. Bravo! Now we need a story for Caleb.

I love how JAK always ties up all the loose ends and leaves me wanting more!

The characters are good

The book is good but not great. I would still listen to the authors books.
