Something is wrong in the neighborhood.

Julia thought the start of senior year would be like any other, until a mysterious new guy named Miles showed up at school. He’s quiet, cool, and impossible to ignore. The more time she spends around him, the stronger her crush grows, but so does the sense that something about him isn’t right.

At the same time, strange changes ripple through her suburb. Students whisper about violent fights. Neighbors are seen wandering the streets late at night. People vanish without explanation, and the authorities seem unwilling—or unable—to help.
