Great concept!

As a tortoise lover, I enjoyed the concept of this book. Tortoises live very long lives so it was fun to move through the decades (with bits of recognizable history thrown in)as seen through the eyes of a giant tortoise.

Creative and sweet

A beautiful story honoring the life of a sentient tortoise and encourages people to see their souls.

Slow, Flat and Ultimately Depressing

The premise implied a clever take on human behavior from the perspective of a tortoise. Not what I expected based on the good reviews - very disappointing.
