"Triumphs of a Taxidermist" is an 1894 short story by the British author H. G. Wells. It was originally published anonymously in the Pall Mall Gazette and later taken up in the short story collection The Stolen Bacillus and Other Incidents. It’s about a taxidermist who had no scruples about inventing and forging creatures of the imagination.
