gorgeous writing and narrating

This historical is so sparkly, joyful, and hot! I spent the whole time squealing, kicking my feet, and swooning!

Gah!

What a delightful, amazing, wonderful debut! Exceptional writing, witty dialog, the perfect amount of angst. Anna was a FORCE! Strong but vulnerable. And Julian! So swoonworthy. I adored them as a couple. I am not usually a fan of multiple narrators but I really liked them all, especially Raphael Corkhill. This is worth a credit for sure.

From the very beginning this book was an utter pleasure! I usually read non fiction and instructional books. This book was a lovely reminder to read for pleasure. It was beautifully written and read or listened to with such ease. A true escape. A real time out. I hope this book becomes a series!
