Intriguing and Captivating

Things are not going well for the Acuña Cartel in their construction or their various businesses. They send in a few mercenaries to find the problem and eliminate it. Unfortunately for Capt. Jarrett Taylor, encounters the most vicious mythical creature ever and the race for survival is on!

The author, Gayne C. Young The author, Gayne C. Young, is gifted at crafting a captivating narrative with dynamic characters that both entertain and propel the plot forward. The authentic dialogue further enriches the storyline, seamlessly aligning with the unfolding situations and actions. Surprisingly, a deep empathy emerged for the Cartel's hired mercenaries and crew as they faced violent consequences, creating an unexpected connection that left me personally unsettled. My unexpected emotional response speaks volumes about the author's skill and storytelling prowess.

The narrator, Kevin Perkins is one of my favorites as he skillfully captures the essence, actions, and vitality of each character and situation in his narration. His adept handling of cadence contributes to the immersive experience as he vividly portrays the unfolding events and character dynamics. Kevin Perkins has a powerful voice that resonates with the listener.

This is an intriguing and captivating book on many different levels! A must-have audiobook!
