I'd call it interesting at best. Not real action packed or exciting. The narration was somehow bland and not bland enough when it came to depicting the surfers tone.

From Comic book to Audiobook

Wow! I am impressed. I was a bit skeptical being a Silver Surfer fan of the comic book for decades I did not expect a well made translation to audiobook. The stories were perfectly narrated. Each story was given life that took my breath away.

Silver Surfer’s story is not about his brute power, but rather his nobility and lonely journey in the expanse of space. Well done here, bravo!

A true essential for all Surfer fans

If you're looking for some truly captivating stories with great narration, than search no further to quench your great hunger! From working with the FF to battling Morg in outer space, this series has it all!

Came for the fun, stayed for the depth.

I’m an old comic fan. I’ve been making my way through the Marvel stuff on Audible as if it was junk food… lots of fun, but I know not a ton of sustenance. Then I got to The Ultimate Silver Surfer. A collection of short stories that purposefully probes existentialist themes, but also has laser beams and giants and space things.

I don’t write reviews really, but this listen inspired me. Narrator was so good that I am looking for other audio books he’s done, which is sort of a weird way to search for my next title, but I stand by it.

You won’t regret the 10 hours you spend with this title. I’m jealous of anyone who gets to listen for a first time.
