So great! Audio production has issues!

I loved this one more than the first book. I love the way the main character's personal ordeal is revealed bit by bit. The audio production of this book has me wondering if they were amateurs? So many times there are repeated lines and I am sure that the author did not write it like that. I think the editing was hurried through and I feel like that reflects poorly on the author. Needs to be fixed...wouldn't take much to do it. I must give a GLOWING 10 star review to the narrator! She is MAGNIFICENT! Unbelievably great with female and male voices and different accents! Highly recommend!!

A wonderful read!

I definitely recommend it! I hope this continues as a series. It is different from the usual historical novel.

Simply wonderful! I loved everything about this book! The characters, mystery, murder, love.

Sara is a true original and all I want is more stories!! Mary Jane is one of my favorite narrators and was perfection.

Even better than the first one!

I really liked the first book in the series but this one really stepped it because the story was faster passed and even more humor sprinkled appropriately in story line. I really hope the author will continue with a third installment even though it’s been 4 years.

There must be a Book 3!

I’ve enjoyed listening to most of my chosen audio books, but my favorite by far is the Sarah Gilchrist series by Kaite Welsh. The writing and narration lack nothing— it is the perfect package. It pained me to finish the second book. I have scoured the internet in search of news that Ms Welsh is working on a sequel. There is more to tell of Sarah, her unladylike pursuits and her two loves. Please say this isn’t the end.
