Joy and Billy had returned from their recent trip where Joy met her long-lost brother, Henry. Due to the traumatic experience of her parents leaving her while she was using the privy many years ago, she had all but forgotten that she had an older brother. He was also an entertainer at the venue she had performed at and after talking for several minutes and he states that he wished she was his sister, Harriet it all comes full circle. They agree to meet the following day for breakfast so Henry can meet her husband, Billy, and her son, Benny. It is a joyful reunion and Billy and Joy invite him to move to Sacramento. They also have plans to be matchmakers...and with any kind of luck they will get Henry and their former schoolteacher Miss Benton to fall in love. When Hildie hears about their plans, she is thrilled and even extends an invitation to Henry to come and live with them until he gets settled.
