Disappointing

Such a disappointment. From the description it sounded so interesting. I loved the narration and appreciated the fine writing style, but the story and lack of emotion in the characters kept me from engaging in the story. It was a struggle to finish.

This was a waste of time

the story moved so quickly between time frames that it never had a chance to develop a coherent story.
