Loved the book! I didn’t like the virtual voice bc it kept messing up words and would say the name of someone up to four different ways.

A heroic journey navigating the broken U.S. health and social service system that fails to care for society’s most vulnerable. I wept during the accounts of how much the author struggled to get help for her dear mother who was living with severe mental illness, and the challenges they both faced, in the process. A well written account of a bravely-lived, difficult childhood, and another example of someone who turned out to be a loving, caring person, in spite of not getting enough love and care in her childhood. Given that the narration was done by AI, it wasn’t bad—despite the horribly mutilated Spanish, in a few places.

A wake-up call to change the health care system
