A gripping thriller from the international bestselling author of The Bridesmaid and Queen Bee!

Nameless. Faceless. Deadly?

Waitress Kit Lowman knows that people look down on her and the job she does. But being anonymous offers Kit safety and security and allows her own terrible secrets to remain hidden.

And then Kit’s luck changes, and she suddenly faces a terrible dilemma: reveal her true identity and accept that life will never be the same. Or stay in the shadows…where she hopes she’ll be safe?

But secrets can’t stay hidden forever. And the more Kit tries to hide away, the more someone makes it clear that they are going to make her pay for what she did.

Perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, Valerie Keogh and Louise Jenson.

This is an okay read. Other books by the same author were much better. This one was super slow moving and not very interesting. Too bad.

Okay, drawn out for no good reason

While this was a thriller, I was not thrilled by the death of a dog and a child. I usually check a website about. Does the dog die in the end, if I have concerns, however, didn’t this time.

Obviously, as a mother and animal lover, it really bothers me when a child or dog dies in the book, but in this instance, the point of the dog dying where is drawn out and brought up repeatedly. Very upsetting.

Mild spoilers/trigger warning

I am unimpressed with the “mystery” of the horrid thing the character did. It’s very slow, constantly talking about this “horrible thing” but only giving snippets. I am sure later on it will reveal and get quicker hopefully but I am over it at this point. “When I played the scenario over and over…” ok but it has been mentioned so many times yet we have no idea what this is. It isn’t a good suspense. It seems lazy and repetitive without any progress. I am about half way through.
