I've found the story can be a bit hard to follow sometimes. I'm really enjoying it but the transitions between scenes can be abrupt. The narrator is amazing.

Enjoyable

This is a trilogy I have reread several times. I love the honor and friendship, good versus evil.

Love this trilogy!

The Fionavar Trilogy is among the very greats of fantasy. I first discovered it as a teen almost 40 years ago. I’m utterly thrilled to find them all on audible now, as I was to find them on Kindle in the past. The characters and story can make you weep. Very well read by Simon Vance, though I’m still wrapping my head at the Dalrai (sp? I’m listening) having Scottish accents..

Superlative series

The narrator did a great job and although there is alot going on that just gives it depth and truly represents what a significant war would be. The characters are well built and the world building was detailed and vibrant. I strongly recommend.

An older series but well worth the listen
