LOVE SLOWLY GREW FROM ANGER, LOATHING & PAIN

As I was mentally going back over this humorous listen in order to write a review I realized just how much it actually contained and how much the character's personalities changed, overcame obstacles and grew so I adjusted my star rating to 5 stars because it was so addictive, enjoyable and it left me with that 'feel good' feeling.

This is a well written humorous tale of sworn bitter enemies being forced into a 'pretend' relationship which leads to resentments, humor, some funny scenes, snappy dialogue, angst and their inevitable sexual attraction and the fall-out their romance causes for all concerned. There are lots of sub plots involving a domineering Mother, a cheating ex Fiancé, a horse, scandal, career suicide, life altering changes, with many complex secondary characters, cold feet and memories of the past that must finally be put to rest before they can ever hope to get their HEA ending.

Worth a credit? If you're in the mood for a witty bitter-sweet love story between a drool-worthy Alpha Texan Cowboy with a lot of attitude problems and a mild and misguided Heroine who finds both her self-confidence and the love of her life.... then this book is for you. I loved it and think it's definitely worth a credit and the Narrator did a great job with all the many voices needed to make this such an entertaining listen.
