He never thought hiding his secret could be the least of his concerns…

Living a reclusive life in upstate New York, Desmond Waters caused quite a stir in the half century since his arrival from across the pond.

His goal had been to escape the prying eyes of his alpha father but instead found himself hosting a bride from abroad.

Isadora Childs was not any happier about the arranged union except that it might provide her an escape from a terrible life she had been forced to endure at one brutal man after another.

The journey to the new world was to be the last in a line of terrible experiences…or so she thought.

Each has secrets they would kill to keep hidden.
Will one or both be forced to exercise that option?

I truly enjoyed this story. Great suspense and plot twist. Loved the ending it was unexpected.

I wish it had an actual narrator instead of a virtual one. The story was good but did leave some open holes in the ending. If one wolf shifter was catching the attention of the townspeople, how would a whole pack be explained. A human can’t reproduce with a shifter but a vampire can?

Not bad. I hated that the heroine had no family and was treated like crap her entire life.
