Brilliant story with excellent narration

I found the story fascinating, with a subtle mystery that soon boiled into an amazing journey into a broken family. The narrator does an excellent job at applying just the right emphasis on just the right spots. The story is a tragedy and it reads like one. Well done on all fronts

Fascinating character

Lord Mute is one of the more fascinating characters I’ve read recently. His perspective is extremely well-written and it feels like there’s a lot more to explore. I’m looking forward to reading part 2.

I loved this little novella of contrasts.

tremendously weird but applicably human. what a fun little read. it is so serious and introspective yet self-deprecating and somehow debonair at the same time.

This was a great performance but great story

I thought this story was well written and the dry sense of humor sort of put it over the top for me. Lord Mute is a strange but interesting character that will be interesting to see where the story goes

A must-listen novella!

A really fun listen. Lord Mute is an excellent first person pov and the narrator, Nick Cracknell does so well with it.
