Can he find the truth about Maud's death before the past—and his strange, unnerving surroundings—overwhelm him?

Rich, complex, well written

This was my first Ryan book and I loved it. So many layers of complexity, historical context, character development, and just plain great story. Haunting without being horrifying. A really good book.
