The Wise Shall Understand

The Book of Revelation is viewed in light of both the current world stage and those historic events which have transpired since it was written. The seven churches of Asia-Minor (which prophetically depict the advancing Church Age) as well as those passages pertaining to the powerful world empire during the tribulation are given considerable attention. OT prophets addressed many of these events, but none revealed the whole picture. Daniel asked the Lord for further clarification, that he might better understand the end times; the Lord said, “the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. . . . none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” It is now the time of the end and, as promised, the wise do understand; the wise understand the signs of the time.
