People hate my type of magic.
They consider a lot of us psychics frauds, or fake witches.

For Arlo, however, his magic might just be hated even more.
He’s my classmate at the prestigious Dreadmor Academy.

He’s also noticeably a werewolf, from the stark yellow eyes, to the full moon transformations.
He’s a dangerous combination, and it might be best for me to stay away…

Except I don’t wish to.
We might be able to achieve great things together, with our magic.

With each other…

The Witch & the Wolf (Magic Academy Romance Book 1) ~~ This was such a strong start to the series and pulled me in right away. I read this one on my Kindle and listened on Audible, both formats worked perfectly together, which honestly helps keep me sane when I’m not teaching. The magic academy setting felt familiar but still fresh, and I immediately connected with the main character and her struggle to be taken seriously for her type of magic.
The slow burn between her and the wolf shifter was done really well. I liked that their connection wasn’t instant perfection  ~ there was tension, mistrust, and a lot of emotional growth. The academy politics, the judgment around her abilities, and the hints of bigger danger kept the story moving without feeling overwhelming.
By the end of this book, I was fully invested in the characters and absolutely ready to continue the series. It sets up the world, the relationships, and the stakes beautifully.
I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself  ~ you won’t regret it.
