Dorothy is injured in a tornado and dreams this story. She dreams she meets a scarecrow who wants a brain, a tin man who wants a heart, and a lion who wants courage. Together they find the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City. He agrees to grant their wishes if they can get rid of the wicked witch. They get rid of the witch only to find out the Wizard of Oz. Their wishes are granted, and Dorothy wakes up in Kansas.
