Things get darker in Fearful Fortunes and Terrible Tarot, where a psychic fair promises enlightenment but delivers murder. Alf goes undercover (badly) to uncover the source of the sinister predictions. Mr Hoo recommends she stay home. She doesn’t.

Finally, in The Mystery of the Marsh Malaise, Alf must save Whittlecombe from a creeping sickness, a disappearing fiancé, and something ancient waking in the mist. No pressure, then.

fantastic narration!

A great paranormal cozy paired with the perfect narrator brings these books to life. Although the plot can feel a bit predictable at times, this cozy is exactly what it sets out to be, unique, quirky and fun.

Cute cozy mystery

This such a cute and fun cozy mystery. I enjoyed the overarching mystery that builds throughout these 5 books. I love the group of friends Alf gathers as the plot thickens. The story is set at a good pace and keeps your attention. Such a cute mystery with a dash of romance.

Wonkiest cozy series

The narrator brought these paranormal stories to life and made this 5 book omnibus a delight to listen to. The story of a witch who had denied her powers, now in the position of owning an estate, realizes she needs to embrace all that she left behind. The overall arc of these five books builds up to a strong ending by the fifth book. An enjoyable series, and I look forward to reading more in the future.

The Wonky Inn Collection Books 1-5 by Jeannie Wycherley is a wonderfully quirky and fun magical cozy mystery set and is a treat for readers of this genre. The author Jeannie Wycherley is also the narrator and does a fabulous job in voicing her characters, more authentic and pulled me into the stories. I can't wait to read/listen to more!

great collection, very entertaining

Audiobook review - Excellent narrator with a pleasant voice, easy to understand and used different voice inflections throughout the whole series.

Story review- I really enjoyed this whole box set collection. It was fun, original, and interesting, with loads of great characters and story lines. Each book was well written and new characters were introduced throughout keeping the plots fresh. The main character, Alf, a witch, is very likeable and grows emotionally as she learns to control her magical abilities. The ghosts who live at her wonky inn are a loveable mix group. Then there is the evil group, threatening everyone and everything while causing havoc. All these people, ghosts and magical beings showcase the author's vivid imagination.

I recommend this entertaining series.
