In a world where the dead outnumber the living, where the ruins of once-great cities are all that remain, humanity’s fight for survival is just beginning. The World Ends tells the story of the survivors who have lived through the nightmare of a global outbreak, and who now must navigate a post-apocalyptic landscape filled with the infected, scarce resources, and the haunting echoes of a civilization lost.

From the very first infection to the final battle against the relentless undead, this gripping tale chronicles the courage, sacrifice, and the unbreakable will to survive of ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances. As societies collapse and the world is reshaped, the survivors must grapple not just with the dead, but with each other, as alliances are forged and shattered in the name of survival. Yet, even in the darkest moments, there are those who believe that hope—no matter how fragile—can always be found.

Discover the heart-pounding story that answers:
- How far would you go to protect the ones you love?
- What makes us human when the world is consumed by the dead?
- Can humanity rebuild from the ashes, or are we doomed to repeat history?

Get ready to embark on a journey through a world ravaged by the undead—but not without the spirit of those who refuse to let it be the end.

The audible book proved to be challenging for me to stay engaged with, as there were moments when I felt like I was replaying previous chapters. Additionally, my listening was interrupted more frequently due to the holiday season, which may have contributed to my struggle. This reflects my personal opinion on the experience.

This is less a book, and more a series of short stories and underdeveloped concepts devoid of character development and any sense of cohesion.
