Great performance but disappointing ending

« The City We Became » blew my mind, one of the best work of fiction of these past years, so I was so excited to listen to the follow up book. Sadly, if the performance is still magnificent, the story itself fizzles out in strange metaphysical explanations in the second half and ends up… disappointing. Too bad.
