I enjoyed the storyline and the character development and immediate action that drew me in to see what would happen next. I felt affection for both characters, both strong and honorable and happily ever after ending

The story line was so tender

I thought the narration was a bit stiff. It took away from the experience. Not enough inflection .

Susan and Gil, strangers but he did everything he could do to help her.

I love the way Gil took care for Susan and her daughter, Carrie as well as her unborn baby.
