Feared and mistrusted by the very people they have sworn to protect, the X-Men are a band of mutant heroes dedicated to defending humans from those mutants who would use their powers to harm and destroy. Blessed - some would say cursed - with awesome abilities, the members of the X-Men are Earth's last defense against villains and madmen...and the future's only hope.

Jean Grey awakens in an unfamiliar room. She is weak, disoriented, stripped of her telepathic and telekinetic powers - and trapped in someone else's body. Also prisoner are her teammates Cyclops, Wolverine, Rogue, and Nightcrawler - their minds held hostage within the bodies of strangers. Who has brought them here, and for what purpose? The answers lead to a terrifying plan that threatens not only the X-Men, but all of mutantkind....

The author doesn't amazing job for training the small details of the X-Men personality. Things such as rogues interogue's inner conflict storms storms barely contained rage and and Cyclops's spatial geometry are all very well done

excellent details, really captured the team

If you want a lot of X-Men action, this ain't the book for you, bub. But if you love what makes these characters tick, like getting deep into the interpersonal relationships on the team, and generally like seeing superheroes have to act as regular people, you'll really enjoy it. Great narration too, and in this book that must have been particularly challenging to pull off, awesome stuff from Tristan Wright!

Unique read

the voice was great not only were they able to do the characters justice but they even managed to sound like them while sounding like they were in a different body. The story lacked a little for me for one, im a big x-men fan and the team line up the author chooses makes no sense Nightcrawler would've been with Excalibur during this time frame it takes place so don'ttry to figureout what year this is. some people might not like that the x-men dont get to use thier powers 99 percent of this story that wasn't a issue for me the author does a good job of showing how good they are without them. This is a body switching story with x-men if that doesn't interest you dont read ,but I enjoyed for the voice acting alone.

great voice actor
