Tense

This story is tense and the heroine is the one always teetering on the edge with James. Hanna was always jumping to conclusions. The story is well written and the performance of the reading staid true to the characters. The word used at the end of this book however for their love is definitely not it. The story is good and will hold your attention from beginning to end.

This is the story of James West and Hanna Parker..and the trials and tribulations they face to be with each other. The story captivated me through the entire book.

Worth to listen!!

Jack has been looking for for a year and couldn't find her. This is a fantastic love story. A kind of romantic and a dream story for everyone.

A Second Chance Story

James and Hanna first met when they were on holiday in Jamaica last Christmas. They each gave false names and parted without having any way to reconnect. Although James did hire private investigators to try and find her he had no chance really because he was working with incorrect information.

He then works in London for a year before returning home to Boston. Hanna, as fate would have it, also lives in Boston and fate brings them together again when she is hired by H.R. as his secretary. Their connection is still strong and both would love to pursue a relationship but Hanna will not date her boss. Hanna is promoted to a job she is far more suited to and agrees to date James again.

I liked these two characters at the start of the story but I became a little frustrated with Hanna, she was basically a strong woman but she allowed herself to be plagued with doubts about her worthiness to date James, basically because he was rich! If he wanted her and she wanted him what was her problem? James on the other hand went out of his way to win Hanna over but when a stalker appeared on the scene he dropped her, he hurt her terribly but refused to tell her why he was behaving the way he did. That for me was his biggest mistake, I felt he should have told her everything.

The storyline was interesting and held my attention and the chemistry between James and Hanna was very well done. I have to admit I had no idea who the stalker was. I really liked the epilogue it rounded off the story nicely. The book was well performed by Marie Smith and at the end of the book I did wonder if Harper Lauren would be writing a story about either of James's brothers?

Can Love Save Them

I read the book before I had the audio, I really like the story. James and Hannah have one night affair in paradise, leaving without knowing each other. Life has its trials for Hannah and when she finally thinks things are going better for her another bump in the road hits her. The one man she couldn't forget is now someone she could never have. Suspense and love, really good story. The narrator seems a bit dry, no real character changes, but we'll enough to still enjoy the story.
