The other is the wealthy and handsome black sheep of the pacifist family who owns the mill where she works, and whose persistent attention becomes impossible for her to ignore.

A surprise gem of a story

Although I know very little about history of the Irish fight for independence this was a delightful story of a young girl growing into a fearless woman who finally finds happiness.

Beautiful narration!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The Irish lilting narration was a standout performance for me, will be looking out for more books narrated by this person.
