My first novel by Ray, I was impressed with her storytelling and clever plotting. Her writing is laced with subtle tension. Gabby, a restless empty-nester, sets off a treacherous game of cat-and-mouse with a mysterious younger woman, Ellis. After a drunken confession that she wants her husband dead; let the games begin!
