OK story, but not very in depth. .

The story is ok, the premise is fair but the entire story is not very good. I have listened to much better.

Good but a bit to much?

Very good story from the beginning to end written well but not to sold on the narrator some of the it was very flat like he was not sure how to bring the characters alive and one special character the younger brother is very dumb and so sappy he ruins the story in the audible and I believe it due to how the narrator tries to bring him alive with feelings and emotions.
Otherwise fairly enjoyed it I can not in total honesty recommend this audible I do have the complete series and hopefully it better or get a better narrator

Narrator was horrible.

Would give 5 stars, but the way the narrator whispered made it very hard to listen to.

for teens

it was good, not amazing but good but I am happy to report there is no swearing or sex.

Would you listen to The Zombie Chronicles again? Why?

Yes. I liked it enough that I'll probably listen with my son. He loves zombies!

What other book might you compare The Zombie Chronicles to and why?

It was similar to Benton, but with no sex. They are both zombie apocalypse series, where humanity still has safe places to go.

What does Mikael Naramore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has a great voice, awesome inflections, and easily keeps the character voices correct.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A dramatic, post-apocalyptic, tale of family and friends, struggling to survive.

Any additional comments?

This book was graphic on a bloody scale, but not a sexual one. Some kids will be able to read it without nightmares... Some adults, too... Unfortunately, I fell asleep listening to this, and had some crazy scary dreams:-)
