Fae world at its best

This story sucks you in and it just gets better and better! I love the voices of the male and female narrators. The males voice changes perfectly for each character and you forget it’s one person voicing them. The females voice has a hint of accent that makes the character really stand out especially when heavy on the sarcasm. This story was long but you don’t realize how long you have been listening to it until it ends abruptly, part of a series, and you feel all the emotions. The author has woven an incredible mash up of the human and fae world with an amazing female character and intriguing male characters. If you enjoy fantasy especially fae and royalty then this is the book to listen to. I can’t wait for the next one!!

Such a great book!

Cannot express just how much I loved this book! (I even bought it on kindle and a hard copy!) The story is captivating and the male narrator’s voice is HOT! Hope the author releases the next few books quickly and I have something spicy to help motivate me while working out!

Hard knock life

Rhowyn hasn't had a good life but she has managed to make a space for herself in the world. She has fought literally and figuratively for where she wanted to be. Her life isn't easy of glamorous but it is hers. However, one night she is hit with an incredible pain that leaves her losing some time. When her mother comes to dinner she never expected the night to change her life completely.

She now finds herself in a new realm and being told she will have to learn a completely new way of life and that started when she first arrived and was given four consorts. Good thing she at least likes two of them already because the third one makes her angry and the fourth didn't even show up.

Will this group of misfits be the tipping point for the kingdom? Will they be able to unlock her secrets and survive the trials?

This book is so good. I inhaled every moment of it and I can not even believe it is a debut novel. I love the concept of the lands making the decisions on who could be the best for the kingdom. I'm still so intrigued by all of the men and getting more of their backstories. I also can't wait to get more answers about Rhowyn. I love that everything we are learning is happening in what feels like real time since no one knows anything about her.

This book seriously ends on a huge cliffhanger. With so much happening and so much at stake what is going to be happening in these trials? How are they going to survive? I need to know what happens next so desperately.

The characters are all different and diverse in their thoughts and attitude. I love that so many big personalities are trying to teach each other while also learning to trust each other. This series has me so excited.

One of my favourites!

I loved reading this book so I knew I would love listening to it! Benjamin crow did such a good job at narrating all the accents for the consorts! I loved Avah narrating her own book and she did an amazing job with the female lead and the queen! I cannot wait to listen to the other two.

One of my favorites

I'm in love! Their Chosen has been one of my favorite books since I first read it and I'm so happy that it's finally out for all audio readers as well! The story is about love and betrayal and magic and so much more! Fast paced, wonderful characters and world building and great job by the narrators (the female POV being spoken by the author herself!).
