The beautiful, vibrant, larger than life Paxton is now dead and gone. Her boyfriend and two other girls were with her the night of her tragic accident. All three of them have moved on like Paxton never existed, but Paxton’s best friend, Layla, hasn’t forgotten anything.

Layla is convinced that there is more to the story, much more than any of those present that night have told. As she continues to dig into the circumstances surrounding Paxton’s death, Layla thinks she’s on the verge of discovering the truth. In reality, she may be placing herself in grave danger. Choosing who to trust could be the most important decision of her life. If she chooses wrong, it just might be a fatal mistake.

I really enjoy the storyline and listening to how the character Bellany gets in and out of her situations. I just wished the author or whoever chooses the narrator would stick to the same talent. Having someone different in each book makes it feel like you don't even know Bellany although she's the main character in every book. I really liked the narrator in the last book. But this narrator in this one is absolutely horrible! she sounds like a drunk Siri. She tries way too hard but just doesn't posses the talent to change her voice and you can hear it. It was so bad that I almost didn't finish the book only because of the talent! I thought I couldn't imagine listening to her attempt to sound mean and attempt to give each character a different voice throughout the entire book! But since I enjoy the story, I got thru it. I just know that I would have enjoyed it alot more without the horrible narrator.

Loved the storyline. Hated the Narrator

This series only gets better. While I agree with the comments on the narrator, the story is so good it didn’t bother me too much. Can’t wait for what’s next. Keep ‘em comin’ Michelle!

What a legend

I've been a fan of the storyline since day 1. That being said, WHY THIS NARRATOR???! Everything from the overly exaggerated characters to the HORRID accents, to the DRAB voice in Bellamy. WHY ruin the Audible in this fashion??? I'm not even halfway through & I'm writing my FIRST Audible review, ever. PLEASE don't EVER have this narrator again. Simply ruins it. I actually have to adjust my VOLUME up & down. I've NEVER had to do that during a read. I'll try my best to get through the rest. Thank you, in advance, for your attention.

WORST NARRATOR EVER CHOSEN

I was invested since book 1 and I’m very upset that there is a different narrator for this book. There literally is no life in bellany’s tone anymore it was hard to listen to the rest honestly.

Not happy about the narrator change

This story, like the others, was great. But the narration is awful. Seriously terrible. Almost too bad to finish the book. Her character voices were annoying and overly dramatic. I can only hope future books go back to the original narrators. Otherwise, I will consider reading instead of listening.
