I enjoyed this book nearly as much as all the authors others. The story was great and like I said gave us so many answers. Like a previous reviewer I too did not like Sandy Grace and felt no sympathy for her..

Finally we know all about sandy! The question is what did Roy see in her. She was not a nice person. And why is this book not considered to be part of the series

I never expected to love Sandy, but after listening to this book I actively dislike her. She appeared to be a self centred and shallow individual who casts around for saviours and abdicates responsibility for her life decisions. Riddled with envy she covets the things she cannot have, even if she once possessed them, yet cast them aside as worthless. An eternal victim she blames everyone else for her misfortunes despite bringing them all on herself.

I did like the book though!

Definitely entertaining as I just couldn't believe the actions and decisions of the main character. Enjoyed the German aspect within the story, as I am German and am going to visit family near Munich next month.

Wild ride!

I like the author and his books but I honestly don't know why he wrote this story. Sandy was the most unlikable "heroines" I've ever seen. Unbelievable that Grace loved and missed this person is beyond me. I expected so much more and I'm really sorry I purchased this story. I feel cheated. I will continue with the Roy Grace stories but if I run into another like this, I'm done with the series.

Disappointed
