Riveting

I thoroughly enjoyed this suspenseful psychological thriller. The plot lines was gripping. The narrstor delivered brilliantly. I highly recommend this book.

When the Chase Is the Story

A well-crafted, tightly plotted story paired with strong narration. This is a serial killer tale where the identity of the perpetrator is known from the start—the real suspense lies in the pursuit. Watching investigators methodically build the case, gather evidence, and stay within the lines turns the story into a gripping cat-and-mouse chase. Full of twists, turns, and steadily escalating tension, it keeps you engaged all the way through.

Long, but well read book

John Payton’s reading of the book and characterizations were excellent. The story evolves around a serial killer and a policeman determined to catch him.

Serial Killer Story

This was a story from the detectives point of view through most of this book. You know who the killer is right from the start. Though the detective knows it too, he has to have physical evidence to be able to arrest the killer. The killer is very smart and keeps one step ahead of all of the people trying to catch him. Narrator does a very good job with the entire storyline.
