If this arranged marriage falls through, we're going to lose our ranches. Doesn't matter that our families hate one another and have for generations—they came to terms behind our backs.
To save our legacies, I'll go through with it but the first time I face Colton Korhonen, I state, "I want a divorce."
She's the wife I didn't want until I married her.
Coming face to face with our small-town's hatred of her and how her grandmother treats her, triggers every protective bone in my body.
Screw business—if marrying her is the only way to keep her safe, I'll do it.
But as I get to know my wife, tell me why I want those rings on her finger to remain there permanently?
Tropes: HEA ~ protective hero ~ billionaire rancher ~ small-town romance ~ arranged marriage ~ he falls harder ~ romantic suspense ~ friends to enemies to lovers ~ heroine with diabetes ~ family saga ~ 'it's always been you'

🐴 Friends to enemies to lovers
🐴 Slow burn
This was a wonderful start to the new 7C’s Pigeon Creek series. G.A. Mazurke is ruling in her small town era! The chemistry between Zee and Colt is palpable from the start and it is even there in the flashbacks, though as a bond rather than romantic in nature. It is obvious that neither really thrived without the other and that the connection between Colt and Zee was always there under the surface. This was a great start to the new series and I cannot wait to see what is next!

Connor Crais as Colt was perfect! He really did a great job making Colt come to life. And Stella Hunter, as always, was amazing at bringing life to Zee.
Great read!

The audiobook for Things Left Unsaid is utterly divine!!!
I was swept off my feet with the banter that was just perfection.
Then the added touches of older characters from the interconnected books were a bonus for me. But Zee and Colt’s connection, their history together, and their journey are what sealed the deal for me. Just brilliant!
Let us not forget the spectacular dual narration performed by Stella Hunter and Connor Crais.
Now that is just audio magic!

Zee left Pigeon Creek ten years ago and didn't look back. She's been living in New York working as a paralegal for Rachel Laker, whom we've met in a previous series.
Colton Korhonen is running the 7C ranch in Pigeon Creek, and he has blamed Zee for the arson and loss of his horses for over a decade. Now his father and Zee's grand-mere have arranged for them to marry to save both ranches.
This is a slow burn second chance, enemies-to-lovers book. These two were meant for each other, but due to circumstances beyond their control, they went opposite ways.
There were some twists along the way with secrets coming out almost to the end. Just as you believe something happened one way you learn it was another.
There were a few heart-wrenching moments that made me tear up, but the ending gave me hope for what's to come.
Bravo to G.A. Mazurke for taking the leap of faith in writing this book.
The narration of this book was excellent. Stella Hunter was the perfect Zee and Connor Crais was the perfect person for Colt.
