A very well done presentation of the messages found in the bible. By using "as-if-you-were-there" stories intermixed with the passages, the author helps guide you to a deeper understanding of the message.

Exceptional!

Countless stories in the Bible exposed to reveal the same message again and again. Christ the hope of glory and our treasure. This book is not dry and boring, but the type you need to pause sometimes just to ponder penetrating truth. Truth that brings freedom and joy when believed. Good for all ages and levels of spiritual maturity. We never get too old for this stuff.

Really well read by the author! I wish he narrated more books. I loved the adaptation of biblical stories with richer meaning. I learnt some amazing faith lessons in the last few chapters. Brought me to tears. I am blessed by the wisdom and insight of this book! Will be searching for more John Bloom books.
