The narrator repeated lines and words throughout the entire reading. Very poor editing - I would NOT recommend this version.

½ (if possible, half a star would be more fitting)
The book itself is absolutely amazing—well-written and captivating—but the narration completely let it down. The narrator’s performance was riddled with errors and stutters, making it feel rushed and unpolished. There was a distinct lack of emotion in their reading, with no proper pauses for commas or periods at times, which disrupted the flow of the story. It felt like they rushed to publish the audiobook without giving the narration the care and attention it deserved.

This book deserved so much more love from its narrator, and unfortunately, their poor performance detracted from an otherwise incredible story. If you’re considering this book, I’d recommend reading the physical or digital version instead.

I own the written book, but every time I've tried reading it, I've been challenged by lack of time or lack of preference for standard reading formats. Considering the price of this audio book, I thought I'd give this title a try. It's like listening to your 7 year-old Hispanic cousin practicing reading while learning, and I say this with a sense of pure entertainment veiled by a little sarcasm. At first, when I heard the reader suddenly stumbling and repeating words, I thought my phone was skipping and it was a connection issue on my end. Then, as it kept happening, I realized the level of quality of this production and understood why I paid a little over a dollar for it. All in all, it's fine, you'll mostly get the gist of the reading, although at times the lack of inflection in the tone will have you questioning wtf you just heard and go over the same sentence a couple of times. You know what they say about "You get what you pay for?"... this audio book is the epitome of that saying.

Timeless Title but Challenged Performance
