A New York Times Bestseller

The riveting story of a heroic girl who fights for her belief that water should be for everyone.

Minni lives in the poorest part of Mumbai, where access to water is limited to a few hours a day and the communal taps have long lines. Lately, though, even that access is threatened by severe water shortages and thieves who are stealing this precious commodity—an act that Minni accidentally witnesses one night. Meanwhile, in the high-rise building where she just started to work, she discovers that water streams out of every faucet and there’s even a rooftop swimming pool. What Minni also discovers there is one of the water mafia bosses. Now she must decide whether to expose him and risk her job and maybe her life. How did something as simple as access to water get so complicated?

I really liked that the reader used high voices, depending on the characters.I think it is a really good book recommended for OBOB readers.

The best

The first thing that comes to mind is the way you tell the story. It can have more perspective on the point of view. Overall, it still seems moderately reasonable storytelling. I like how it didn’t sound like someone was reading of a book. ♥️♥️♥️

I loved this book! I listen to it every night when I am trying to fall asleep on repeat and it’s so great. I think that this book really represents that you should not waste water and that there are a lot of people who are less fortunate then you. I think it so inspiring that when Mini is only 12 she makes all of those accomplishments which I am not going to say so I don’t spoil the book but definitely a very very very very very very very huge recommendation. Hope you like this book if you are rereading this!🩷💦💧🚱

The performance was great it talks about the real thing that happened and it goes off with a happy ending but I just wanna know how he got in trouble or caught by the police. They didn’t add that in, but that is fine. I still love the book and love the though, Fanchers, and I hope that he lives the best cooking life possible, and the author of a best poem, or tap, making life if it was real. The story overall was great.

AMAZING book
