1800 period

A love story of 2 people engaged but it wasn’t in the plan to really get married. One had a gift that could see and speak to ghost. A lot of twists and turns in this cute story in the English country side. A Duke with a fight on his hands to keep his country estate from going bankrupt. Of course behind every great man is a woman (wife) and her ghostly friends.

Cute Story

I love the juxtapose of magic and reality. Christina is an enchanting fey character paired with Harry, the Duke, who needs to find his way to love and to saving his ducal inheritance. The journey is delightful.

Ghostly aide

What a wild, weird and delightful story. Betrothed pair Lady Christina and Lord Harry, must now marry. Having become Duke of Somerville upon the untimely death of both his father and elder brother, Harry needs Christina's dowry to save the Sommerville estates. Christina has no problem with that as she and Harry have been longtime friends since childhood. She has a problem with the man Harry has suddenly become, one bogged down with the huge burden left upon his shoulders. She refuses to share herself until the charming and fun loving man she once knew returns. When strange things begin to happen when they arrive at the Sommerville Estate, Christina has only the ghostly friends she has discovered to aide her in discovering what's going on and what happened to plunge the estate into such huge debt. Harry loves Christina but she drives him batty with her insistence that there are ghost inhabiting the estate. Though Christina was a bit annoying to me as a character, I still managed to enjoy this story.

I loved this book but, Audible where's book 5?

This is book 4 of the series & it is delightful! The performance was great. I enjoyed hearing of the antics of the Dutchess who can interact with ghosts. I was hunting for book 5 of the magic series & cannot find it on Audible but, book 6 is available?! What happened? Book 5 is about an seer artist who paints her husband before she meets him and I so wanted to listen to it! Audible please get Book 5 on Audio!
