great book, ok narration

this book was great!!! such an unexpected loss in the middle. when I read the line, I was like, it's ok it's Karen, he'll be gtg. so much to my surprise.....but so glad with the ending. as always Karen, excellent story. Def. not my favorite narrator however.

Great Book

This was a great series and I enjoyed listening to each of them. If you are looking for a good Christian series then check this one out!

Would you listen to This Side of Heaven again? Why?

No, but I am not a person who rereads books or watches movies over and over unless they really strike a chord in me. This book just missed the mark for me.

I am drawn to books written by Christian writers because they have the ability to entertain with their books without having to resort to foul language or lurid sex. Karen Kingsbury's books can be relied upon to fill the bill for me. However, I found myself not missing the book when I was unable to listen to it. My interest was not held as much as other of her books. If you are looking for a good, clean book for light summer reading, this book will meet those expectations.

The wonderful story of redemption.

I like how the author told the story of forgiveness and God’s love in such a touching way.

Very touching story. Karen Kingsbury is a great author. Sometimes audio book would
suddenly close and I'd have to reopen it. Other than that great book.
