A wonderful book to teach kids about immigration and compassion

My children and I are hooked on the Front Desk series. When they listened ahead without me I needed to go back to catch up — not some I often do with my kids’ books. This one provoked meaningful conversations about compassion, kindness and the importance of standing up for human rights.

I learned so many new things ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved it! I enjoyed the learning side of it, and how our country was born

I love th story but it got real and I’m a kid so it was a little sad

I loved how the author used fegertive language to help us understand what Mia in the story was going through,and the author explains events and predictaments in an undescribable way!!
