From New York Times & USA Today Bestseller, Vi Keeland, comes a steamy new romance novel. The rules: No dating. No sex outside of the game. No disclosing the terms of the contract. Rules were made to be broken, right? Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal. After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldn’t be hard to live up to my end of the bargain…so I thought. Until I realized the deal I’d made was with the devil…and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother.

Author's note – Throb is a full-length standalone novel.

ok a few things. I really enjoyed this story, even when I could predict what would happen next. This is how you do a billionaire book. We KNEW Cooper had money but it wasn't thrown in your face, it wasn't the cause of conflict, it wasn't all flash and whatever. His money wasn't a character in the book. Cooper was hot, powerful, wealthy, and sexy with the mouth and sexuality of a devil. I WISH someone would change my mind the way he does...lol.

I also enjoyed Kate's character. I respected her motives. I think she should have come clean to Flynn sooner though. Maybe he could have helped her act things out better. I did not like Kate's hypocritical behavior when it came to her being allowed to date another man (even if the reasons were good) and other women flirting with Cooper. Hello pot? This is kettle.....YOUR BLACK.

Overall this was an enjoyable read. I can't wait for Flynn's book to come out in audio.

Combustible

I didn't like Molly's male voice. Didn't sound right. She was given too many male parts, left me cringing wanting to fast forward.
Clearly the male parts she narrated should have been done by Sebastian. This is my only audiobook so far that I stopped listening to in order to start other books. I'm now scared to buy the next book Beet I believe its called.

Not enough Sebastian

Such an easy listen and wanting to know what would happen next. Sebastian York was amazing but didn’t like the girl narrator. Her guy voice was terrible and made it hard to listen to her.

Great story!

i read beat (2st book) first not knowing Throb should have been read first. Flynn is the main character in beat so just read Throb first then Beat if you want to get the full picture.

really good book (1nd book in series)

It’s probably a good story. But I couldn’t handle Kate’s voice. I didn’t even make 1/2 way through. Molly Glenmore’s narration was a terrible match for this character. S.York was spot on as usual.
