Hi Bish…

This was a great continuation of the first book Between the Pines. I would say it could be a standalone but I also believe in reading the whole series. Lennox is a spit fire and I love it! Bishop has some trauma but gives it right back to her. Loved it.

Female narrator’s man voice is terrible.

I read this book and was looking forward to the audio but this female narrator has a terrible man voice. Like why aren’t all audiobooks duets at this point. She is so difficult to listen to when she’s voice male characters

This first one was better. 🫣

This might be an unpopular opinion, but the first one was better. The FMC was not likable AT ALL!!! There’s a fine line between being a brat and been an a** and she was definitely the latter. I honestly didn’t feel the chemistry between the MCs. This would’ve been better as a duet narration with these two narrators because their voices for the opposite sex were awful. I will still finish the series when the last book comes out though.

It was okay

I was expecting more for their story than what the book gave. It’s cute but felt like there could have been more.
