Dreighton Myers was only seventeen-years-old when he was locked up for murder. The only problem was, he had done the time for killing the wrong man. However, when he gets released years later, he is on a mission of vengeance and refuses to let anything stand in his way of taking Malachi Jensen’s life, but when Dre goes back to his old stomping grounds to get the treasures he left behind, he finds out that nothing is as it was, and those he trusted are now the ones he has to protect himself from.
All Daymion wanted was for his son to come home and live drama free, but no matter how much he tries to keep him out of harm’s way, there is always someone else to put him back in it. With Dre back out in the streets, Daymion finds it hard to sleep at night, because he knows Malachi is out there somewhere lurking and waiting to make his move.
When Dre and Daymion join forces to bring Malachi out of hiding, they find out more than they had been looking for and realize that they are not the only ones who want to send Malachi behind The Cemetery Gates. But, might Dre and Daymion find themselves up against the quintessential THUG OF SPADES?
