Should a woman give the man that once loved her - then killed her - a second chance at either? Not many people get a do-over, and mountain guide Vicky Golden isn't about to waste hers. With a new name, a new look, and a new attitude, she has the life she always wanted. But when a geothermal project threatens her precious Mt. Shasta, she risks exposing her secret to the world and to the man who wanted her dead.

Since his wife Brianna's accidental death, Dutch aristocrat Christiaan van Laere has punished himself for being an awful husband with long hours, long runs, and celibacy. He needs the Mineral Springs project to save his company's future and his family's fortune. He'll do anything to ensure success, including butting heads with a radical environmental group and the leader who bears a strange resemblance to his late wife. As Vicky and Christiaan up the ante to achieve their goals, they're forced to deal with dark secrets, painful emotions, and an undeniable attraction. But what happens when the world learns Brianna isn't dead?

I enjoyed this story more than I thought I would. I had baz figured out from the beginning he was just everywhere and in everyone's business. I love that someone was willing to put their life on the line to save the mountains and springs within. And the hawk really made my day saving their homes.
Wish I could remember what ah fa doma (spelling) meant in English. It was expressed a lot.
I received this free for an honest review from the author or narrator.

Annie Oortman is a new author to me, while I have several books performed by Roberto Scarlato in my library. I was hooked on this book from the very beginning. I loved all of the twists and turns, suspense and imagery this book had. The narrator did an awesome performance and added so much emotion to the story. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher, and/or narrator. I do not like to give away spoilers in a review, but this book has an awesome ending that I didn't see coming.

If you could sum up 'Til Death Us Do Part in three words, what would they be?

The story takes you to a wonderful ride of love, danger and happily ever after. The chemistry between Christiaan and Bri/Vicky is immediately sensed through the words of this new brilliant author. The danger and suspense kept me completely into this book!

I chose this story because of Roberto Scarlato. I've heard his voice before but with a different name. As always, he did an excellent job on reading this story. However, I usually skip when a story is told from a third person, but this one is pretty good, thanks to the narrator. He made it better and kept me listening. This author is new to me. I will look for her book in the future, unless it's told in a third person, then maybe not.

excellent performance

A woman is murdered by her husband,or was she? When she encounters him in her new life can she trust him?Sappy, romantic and repetitive..but a good read.Roberto Scarlato was a fine narrator.“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”
