No offense to the excellent portrayal of Mr. Henry Beemis by Tim Kazurinsky, but he is not Burgess Meredith. My mind's eye had difficulty picturing a Beemis who didn't look like Meredith. I found myself missing Meredith's vocal style and inflection. Additionally, this is another Zone that suffers slightly from the lack of the final visual. However, like every other offering in this radio series, the production values are excellent. If you can take this adaptation at face value, and appreciate it for what it is, you will certainly enjoy it.
